Update

Auction of Spartacus Head Study

This was auctioned at The Cavalry Fizz fund raising event held by Lt. Col. Dan Hughes the CO  of The Household Cavalry at Knightsbridge Barracks late last year.  It was a splendid event with the band playing in the parade ground and many wonderful auction lots donated to raise funds for their charities.

LATEST PAINTING

This update is of the biggest painting I have ever done and is now finished and featured in The Cavalry Collection.  It  is 38″ high x 64″ wide and is oil on linen.  It took many hours of work to detail all the 11 horses, but I was helped by playing some rousing music on my CD of The Guards Band!  Amazing how a good marching tune helps paint the  large amount of sand in the foreground with bold horizontal strokes!

2010 Orphan Elephant Release – Sri Lanka

Watch the video of the 2010 elephant release. Very similar to my orphan Florence’s release in 2007

Also see the interview with Dr. Deepani Jayantha, who is the Born Free representative in Sri Lanka.  We have a very close friendship with Dee (as we know her) as she ‘adopted’ us as her ‘English  Mum and Dad’ and has visited us here at home. We keep in close touch with her life and she does splendid work along with all the wildlife vets with whom we are always in touch.
